In the pomegranate farm, children lived without playgrounds, theatres, stories or television. Everyone spoke in hushed tones, lived in gray houses and wore gray clothing. No one was encouraged to sing, dance or laugh.  Until Fairuz was born. They saw in her the heart of a pomegranate seed, a little girl who would change the life of the village.
